Death Blows

Comic Artist Mike Wieringo died Sunday from a heart attack. He was one of my favorite aritists and I missed him this year at HeroesCon damn it. Having lost all my original art in the move from LA to Charlotte, he would have made a splendiferous new first sketch or even an original page of art. Damn it. I loved, loved loved his run on the Flash with Mark Waid and bugged him and writer Toodd Dezago for more of their original series Tellos that they created some 15 or so issues of years ago. Mike had his own blog he updated regularly at mikewieringo.com but it seems the extra traffic has shut it down at leat temporarily. This really sucks
