Next Big Thing
Sophia Myles. Today I was gearing up for the third season of Doctor Who on Sci-Fi by watching last season’s episode “The Girl In The Fireplace” in which Miss Sophia Myles starred. And she was fantastic. I forgot how fantastic she was, even though I shouldn’t have since I’ve saved that one Doctor Who episode on my Tivo all this time simply because it was so great. Seeing it again all I could think was “this girl is gonna go far” and one short IMDB search later shows me she has already begun. She was in the dark fantasy action film “Underworld” and its sequel and played the lead in the feature “Tristan+Isolde” with James Franco. If you’ve ever seen an unknown actor and thought “they are gonna be famous” you understand where I am coming from - Sophia Myles is one of those. Watch for her.
