Recommendation: World War Hulk #1

Can you believe it’s taken me this long to bring up comic books here? Anyway, WORLD WAR HULK #1 came out Wednesday and it’s a doozy. Here’s the set-up for this miniseries: Mr. Fantastic, Iron Man, Dr. Strange and Black Bolt all decdied the Earth would be safer without the Hulk. So they shot him into space toward a lifelss but hospitable planet. Too bad he ended up on a horrific nightmare of a planet instead where he was stabbed, burned, blown up and all sorts of nasty stuff. Well now he’s heading back to Earth and he wants to kill the four super-heroes he thought were friends. And the whole planet and a bit of the moon are the Hulk’s battleground. Written by Greg Pak and fantastically drawn by John Romita Jr.
