New Fall Season
Thoroughly enjoying the new show “Chuck”. This hour-long ensemble comedy has me laughing the whole 60 minutes. “Pushing Daisies” is fun in a really odd way, the show is so different from most anything on tv. I tried “Moonlight” but was bored 20 minutes into the pilot episode. “Bionic Women” fared little better as I watched the entire first episode but then dropped it about twenty minutes into the second. I like “Big Bang Theory” but have’t added it to TiVo yet, I’ve just been catching it when I watch in realtime its lead-in “How I Met Your Mother” - but I tend to watch that one on TiVo more than half the time. On the Sci-Fi Channel I watched the new “Flash Gordon” show for about 6 or 7 episodes but the show didn’t seem to be attempting to rise above it’s mediocre tendencies. And I don’t really miss it. Hmm, only two new shows added to my viewing habit, not bad. I should start tracking this stuff to see how my television viewing fluctuates from year to year. I can tell you this, the time has gone up since getting TiVo. Being able to record and watch something at a later date has never been easier.
