No rest for the wicked.
Ugh. Jacob does not like to sleep at night. During the day he can be out for 4-5 hours at a stretch but nighttime we are lucky to get 2.5 hour naps. I’m back at work next week so I’m really hoping he can switch this up by Sunday to give his mom and me some rest.
First Doctor visit goes swell
Jacob passed his one week old doctor appointment with flying colors. Looks to be in perfect health and gaining weight just fine. Doc was so impressed she said we don’t need to come back for a one month visit (where all they do is check his weight) but skip ahead to his two month check-up. Woo-hoo!

Birth Day
We are a little more than an hour away from leaving for the hospital. The c-section is scheduled for noon today, so everyone in my cell phone can expect a text message at some point after that with the details. Gender, length and weight. Sorry, we still haven’t decided on a name.

3 more days til baby arrives. Been doing a lot of work around the house getting things ready. Shifted rooms around now that Janette and Jordan have moved out.
